Join our fellow Columbia County Zero Waste members, volunteers and staff from Beyond Plastics, NYPIRG, Only One, League of Women Voters, Environmental Advocates of NY and other organizations in Albany for an in-person Advocacy Day to lobby our legislators to help pass the Packaging Reduction Act and the Bigger Better Bottle Bill.
Speak with our State Senator Michelle Hinchey and your Columbia County State Assemblymember Didi Barrett (AD106) or Assemblymember Scott Bendett (AD107-Towns of Kinderhook, Stuyvesant, Stockport, Ghent and the Village of Chatham only).
The Assembly has not yet presented their bill for the Packaging Reduction and Recycling Act.
